Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 23, 2026

This policy explains what information we collect, why, and who we share it with. Written in plain language on purpose. If something isn’t clear, email us.

Information we collect

About your practice, most of it is public. We gather what’s visible on your website, your Google Business Profile listing, and your published reviews. We run 20 keyword searches through a third-party rank tracker to see where your practice sits in local search. None of this is data you privately share with us — it’s the same information anyone can see on the open internet.

About you as a subscriber, we collect your email address, your practice name, your billing information through Stripe, and any notes or messages you send us. We do not see or store your credit card number; that stays with Stripe.

How we use it

Public practice information is used to generate your monthly content pack. Your email and billing information are used to deliver your packs, send receipts, and contact you about your account. We do not sell your information and do not use it for advertising.

Third parties who process your data

We use a small set of service providers to run Dentalmonth. Each one processes specific data for specific purposes:

  • Stripe — payment processing. Stripe handles your credit card and billing details under its own privacy policy.
  • Anthropic — provides the language model we use to draft content. Information sent includes your practice’s public data and our prompts, not your billing or account data.
  • Cloudflare — hosts this website and your microsite. Processes standard server-access logs (IP address, user-agent) for security and performance.
  • SerpApi — runs search-engine rank queries on your behalf, using only public keywords related to your practice.
  • Google (Gmail) — we receive email at our Gmail-hosted inbox. Google processes those messages under its own privacy policy.

How long we keep it

While you’re a subscriber, we keep your practice data and generated content for as long as is useful to serve you, and for up to 30 days after cancellation so reactivation is easy. After that, we delete or archive it on request.

Stripe retains billing records on its own schedule to comply with tax and financial regulations.

Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. Send the request to dentalmonthapp@gmail.com and we’ll respond within a reasonable time, usually a few business days.

If you’re in a jurisdiction that gives you specific privacy rights (California residents under CCPA, Europeans under GDPR, etc.), you have those rights here too. Email us and we’ll honor valid requests.

Cookies

Our public site does not use tracking cookies. Stripe’s checkout page may set functional cookies to complete a transaction; those are covered by Stripe’s policy.

Children

Dentalmonth is intended for dental practice owners and staff. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be emailed to subscribers. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
